Saturday “Rx” hikes with the South Kingstown Land Trust

Hike for your child’s (and your) health.

For the second year, the South Kingstown Land Trust is part of the “Park Rx” initiative. Healthcare providers in South County are joining a national movement to “prescribe” taking walks and spending time in nature for better physical and mental health. This is especially true for youth experience health and weight issues.

The all-ages hike take place the first Saturday of every month on SKLT’s Browning Woods Trail, through pine and oak forest and past amazing stone walls. The full hike lasts about 3 miles, though you can shorten your outing to about 1 mile if desired. Kids and leashed dogs welcome!
